About This In-Person Seminar

Young adults today face unprecedented challenges, including the aftermath of the pandemic, economic pressures, and the pervasive influence of technology, often leading to emotional dysregulation, heightened anxiety, and difficulty managing stress. This seminar will equip therapists with practical tools to help young clients, ages 18-25, build emotional resilience, foster emotional balance, and successfully navigate personal, academic, and professional challenges with confidence.

Seminar Objectives
  1. Analyze the developmental and emotional needs of young adults (ages 18-25) in light of recent societal and historical events (pandemic, social movements...etc) 
  2. Introduce targeted interventions to support emotional resilience, self-awareness, and emotional regulation in young adult clients. 
  3. Explore strategies for therapists to help young adults navigate key life transitions in education, relationships, and careers while maintaining emotional balance.

Meet the Presenter

Hannah Jurkevicius, LCSW


Hannah Jurkevicius is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a compassionate therapist specializing in helping clients navigate emotional regulation and personal development during life adjustments and transitions, including grief. She works with individuals addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. With expertise in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Hannah empowers her clients to build resilience, emotional balance, and coping strategies for personal growth. She is currently working at the Aurora location of Graceful Therapy.
