Grief and Loss – Supporting Children and Families Through Loss offers a compassionate exploration of the complexities of grief and its impact on children and families. Meet the Presenter
Laura Cottrell, LCPC, ATR, ASCDS
Laura Cottrell serves as the Counseling Manager at Hummingbird Pediatric Therapies and is both a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and an Art Therapist Registered (ATR). She holds a range of certifications in various psychological disorders. Previously, she supervised the bereavement department at a hospice organization and also directed two annual bereavement camps for children and adolescents. Additionally, she has organized support groups and family events for grieving youth. Currently, Laura manages counseling services at a pediatric clinic, providing treatment to individuals and is part of a team within a therapeutic academy. In her spare time, she finds joy in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, enjoys creating art and, most importantly, spends quality time with her four grandchildren.
